N62 4.4i Camshaft Pos Sensor DIY anyone? ↗

First-hand notes on swapping the four camshaft sensors on an X5 4.4i (N62). With the engine covers off, the bank 2 sensors sit at the back of the heads by the firewall, and a short 1/4" ratchet is the only thing that fits. Some cars use corded intake sensors, and the 'hex' screws may actually be E6/E7 external Torx. Have both ready and don't drop them.
