Rear shock replacement on a 2006 530xi Touring: most of the work is stripping the cargo-area trim (floor, storage trays, side panels) to reach the upper mounts, then unbolting the shock from below.

Tools mentioned: T20 Torx, 8/10 mm nut drivers, trim tools, jack and stands

Applies to 2006-2010 Touring models; cars with rear self-levelling use different units.
