How to Switch from an E9 to an E12 or E24 Wiper Motor ↗

Workaround when the original E9 wiper motor is dead: tape the wipers in place, undo the linkage nut and three 10 mm bolts, and fit an E12/E24 motor after adding a crimped ground loop. Done in under 30 minutes.

Tools mentioned: 10 mm socket, flat screwdriver, crimp terminal

Uses a later-model motor instead of the NLA part.
