After servicing S38 throttle bodies, set butterflies and pushrods to BMW spec

An E28 M5 restoration log documents setting up the S38 throttle bodies after refurbishing them. With a dial indicator preloaded at the butterfly edge, set each stop screw to 2.10-2.15 mm. Set the fixed 5/6 pushrod to 97.5 mm and shorten the 1/2 and 3/4 rods (factory 100 mm) until they are equal. Then check wide-open openings and synchronize. Useful when keeping worn original throttle housings in service.
