LAD Accumulator Replacement ↗

If the rear end of an E32/E34 with LAD self-levelling turns harsh and bouncy, the two nitrogen accumulators have lost their charge (often around 8 years or 100k miles). How to depressurise the system (pump the brake pedal about 20 times), reach both accumulators from underneath without dropping the exhaust, and undo the fittings with flare-nut wrenches. Top up with fresh Pentosin afterwards.
